Galerie 44 is moving and growing !
After a year and a half of intense research, it is a reality.
We packed our boxes to continue to live this adventure, on a large scale, in a place with a thousand promises where new projects are already emerging for Galerie 44. A new stage made possible thanks to all our clients who have placed their trust in us over the past eight years.
Why?
Just like our ever-growing passion, our collection has grown significantly over time. Moving had become necessary to continue in the best possible conditions, always putting the satisfaction of our customers at the heart of our priorities.
Our new warehouse…
… is somewhat atypical. 1000 m2 where you can find:
- our offices where we manage the purchases and sales as well as the communication of the Gallery,
- our 150 m2 restoration workshop to always preserve this link with the antique furniture that we hunt for, restored with all the knowledge of our two cabinetmakers,
- a 100 m2 professional photo studio where our unique pieces are highlighted to present them to you on our online store,
- a 600 m2 space specially adapted to meet the growing storage demand of our customers during their development projects.
Next step? Developing, internally, services inspired by the needs of our customers, such as a tapestry workshop.

If the city of Lyon is undoubtedly of great beauty, it is in the countryside that we have chosen to stay, in the town of Fareins where it all began and now in Jassans Riottier where we have been exhibiting these great designers, who are dear to us, for all these years – André Sornay, Pierre Chapo, Charlotte Perriand, Osvaldo Borsani – as well as pieces without signature but always of very good quality.
