Galerie 44 x Les Pensionnaires – the photoshoot
When Galerie 44 welcomes Les pensionnaires, who have come laden with beautiful cotton gauze fabrics, all our furniture comes to life under drapes with rusty, caper green and immaculate white reflections. A timeless and warm marriage between old pieces steeped in history and household linen designed to last.
The encounter
It was like an evidence.
Our common love for beauty, beautifully crafted pieces, quality raw materials... we spoke the same language and shared the same desire: to encounter another complementary universe to create a series of unique photos specific to this collaboration.
Les Pensionnaires, a household linen brand founded by Elsa, defends these values that are dear to us: authenticity and the preservation of know-how, by working with craftsmen from the great textile tradition of Portugal. The choice of natural fabrics, the attention to detail and finishes, echoed the restoration work carried out by our partner craftsmen on the pieces sold at Galerie 44.

Highlighted
Take tables, chairs and beds out of the Gallery, from its museum dimension, to bring them to life; this was our deep desire through this collaboration. Bringing out the spontaneity and beauty of everyday life by staging our furniture in a house born from our two worlds. Poetic. Minimalist. Timeless. Where the charisma and the history carried by the old furniture are intertwined, and the freshness, the dynamism, brought by the top-of-range household linen which dresses and animates the place.

The result of two days of intensive shooting under the expert gaze of Sylvain, photographer from Galerie 44, this photoshoot revealed the harmony that was created between our two brands throughout the creative process. From our exchanges of ideas, our sharing of inspiration, to the choice of the pieces that we wish to associate and the stagings imagined to highlight them.
A beautiful experience immortalized in video, to prolong this marriage between our two worlds with a natural and obvious complementarity.
