Description

This set of 10 chairs model Basket was designed, in 1950, by Gian Franco Legler, Italian-Swiss designer, then edited by Pierantonio Bonacina in Italy. These stackable chairs consist of a honey-colored rattan seat and a black metal structure. The structure is covered with a black plastic to increase their resistance, in addition, it allows an outdoor use.

For the record, the chairs were made for the Italian restaurant "The Basket", and it won the "good design award" awarded by the MoMa (Museum of Modern Art) in New York in 1953.
