This armchair was designed by the Hungarian designer Marcel Breuer in the 1930s, it was produced by Stylclair (producer plate under the seat, see photo). It is made up of two cantilevered structures connected to each other, respectively forming the seat and backrest for the first and the armrests for the second. The set is made from aluminum. Two stained wooden armrests are found on the second structure.
The original seat cushion in burgundy patinated leather is present.
A rare piece that will be placed as a work of art for collectors of 20th-century furniture.
A lounge chair version is part of the permanent collection of the Center Pompidou in Paris.
