This set of 6 armchairs was designed in the 30s by Marcel Breuer then edited by Thonet in the 70s. This model Cesca B64 with its armrests covered with wood is the variant of the famous Cesca B32 chair by the same designer. They are composed of a chromed steel tubular structure with cantilever base. The seat and back are made of natural cane, the two armrests and the seat are surrounded by a frame in solid beech lacquered in black of origin.
"Cesca", the name given to this collection of chairs, refers to the designer's daughter, Francesca.
