This magnificent model 1590 sofa was produced in the 1940s by the famous Danish furniture designer Fritz Hansen. Entirely made from elm, it is made up of a 6-legged base, a backrest and two armrests. A magnificent assembly work of 20 thin logs has been carried out on the backrest, making the design of this sofa unique and airy!
The whole structure is completed by a wide seat and a backrest cushion covered by a khaki fabric, which the previous owners changed a few years ago. Initially presented with a thick fur fabric, we can imagine reupholstering it.
It is even more majestic when viewed from behind. We find the Danish style in the rounded shapes of the armrests.
Integrate a collector's item into your interior with this rare sofa with a unique patina of time. A piece of character!
The two matching armchairs are also presented in the Seating category. The set comes from a secondary house in Toulouse.
