Armchairs in mahogany and caned 1950 set of 2

Description

This pair of armchairs was designed in the 1950s in Africa. Proof of its authenticity? Look at the last photo, vintage photo transmitted by their former owner where we can see her sitting with her cheetah, image taken in 1958 in Fort Lamy.

It is composed of an entirely mahogany structure, a backrest and a seat made of caning.

These armchairs will be a strong decorative element for your decoration with its totally vintage look. Give its the style you want by decorating its with a cushion, in fur for a cocooning spirit or even with fringes for a bohemian atmosphere. Cane armchairs have become a great classic for a chic and neat decoration.

The design and lines of these armchairs recall the creations of Pierre Jeanneret for Chandigarh.
