Bridge armchairs in beech and ropes 1950 set of 2

Description

These bridge armchairs were designed in the 1950s in France. It is composed of a solid beech structure and two armrests with rounded shapes. The armrests recall a curved ribbon descending to the ground. The seat and the back are made of braided ropes forming a checkerboard.

These armchairs remind the creations of Audoux Minet. It will easily fond their place at the ends of a dining table or around a pedestal table.
