Published in 2014 by the Danish design house Frama, the "Rivet" side table is an iconic creation by designer Jonas Trampedach. Entirely handmade from raw aluminium, it is crafted using a traditional assembly technique without welding, where the plates are joined together with visible rivets.
Each piece is unique, with subtle variations in tone and texture that result from the artisanal treatment of the aluminium. The intentionally raw and geometric design evokes both industrial aesthetics and contemporary sculpture.
With its bold angular lines and matte finish, this side table can function as an accent table, a pedestal, or a sculptural object in its own right. It perfectly embodies Frama’s ethos: a balance between tradition, raw materiality, and minimalist elegance.
