B10 bookcase by Pierre Chapo in elm 1980
This bookcase was designed by the famous French cabinetmaker Pierre Chapo in the 80s, it was named B10. It is entirely made of elm.
At the time, the B10 collection made it possible to create for each person the furniture that suits them best, which corresponds to their use and the space for which it is intended. The walls and equipment (doors, shelves, drawers) could be chosen and combined to form, according to needs, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a secretary or any other versatile piece of furniture. A second version is also displayed in the furniture section.
The version presented here is composed of the basic low structure comprising two hinged doors on the right and four drawers on the left on which rests a tall element composed of three shelves.
The wood displays a remarkable patina of time which testifies to its authenticity and its past.
