Alain Richard desk in rosewood edition Meuble TV 1960
This desk was designed by French designer Alain Richard and custom-made for a Parisian collector. It was produced by Meuble TV, as evidenced by the original label inside the drawer (see photo).
This piece is distinguished by its elegant proportions and the high quality of the materials used. The top, as well as the two side cabinets on the right, are made of rosewood, a precious wood with deep hues that lends the piece a rich visual appeal.
The polished metal base provides a subtle contrast to the warmth of the wood, while ensuring both stability and lightness to the structure. The balance between clean lines and refined materials perfectly illustrates the work of Alain Richard, renowned for his functional approach and modernist aesthetic.
Designed as a unique piece, this desk combines functionality and character. It will find its place naturally in a contemporary interior or a sophisticated workspace, adding a touch of 1950s-60s French design with significant decorative value.
