Coffee table in oak and ceramic Barrois Vallauris 1950
Reference:
2944
This coffee table was made in the 60s in Vallauris in France, it is signed "Barrois" on the board (picture n ° 8). It is composed of three cylindrical feet and a thick top, all in oak. The top is covered with stoneware ceramic tiles in shades of brown and white, revealing a herbarium pattern.
The design of this table is reminiscent of the Herbier collection of French ceramist Roger Capron. The wood has a beautiful patina giving this table a very brutalist design.
