Bruno Mathsson coffee tables model with cleft legs in birch Swedish design 1950 set of 2

These two coffee tables were designed in the 50s by Bruno Mathsson (designer label on the two tables, picture n°14 and n°15), a Swedish designer, it is part of the collection "table with cleft legs". These tables are composed of a beech structure with 4 feet connected by a central spacer, the particular shape of the feet recalls their name "table with cleft legs". Each table has a birch top, rectangular for the large model and square for the small model.
These two tables form a nice winning combination with Scandinavian lines.
