This pair of stools was designed by the French cabinetmaker André Sornay in the 1960s. It consists of a base with a compass feet and a rectangular seat, all made of mahogany.
It will be placed as pretty decorative accessories in all rooms of the house. Its proportions are ideal for hiding under a console, a desk or becoming your bedside table in the sleeping area. It's up to you to place it where you need it...
These stools come from a Lyon family which was furnished in Sornay, the last photo represents the period sketch of the room where the stools were placed, a good proof of authenticity!
