This square-shaped coffee table was designed by Andre Sornay, famous French cabinetmaker in the 60s. It consists of a tinted beech structure, a storage top in white laminate and a black laminate main top. This table has a system called "tigette", a mounting kit system patented by Andre Sornay.
This table can easily be combined with other Andre Sornay coffee tables to make a checkerboard or to place on both sides of a sofa (picture 7 and 8).
