This suite of chairs is composed of an ash structure, a seat and a backrest in woven straw. It is very similar to the Bauche model by Charlotte Perriand, It has a pretty story behind their manufacture. It come from the granddaughter of a cabinetmaker who worked for Charlotte Perriand in the 1950s. He had made for his interior, a suite of 6 chairs, similar to the designer's model. In order not to plagiarize, the difference is on the spacer of the base, here straight, unlike the Perriand model which is tapered.
It has a beautiful patina of time, these pretty vintage pieces will bring character to your dining room!
