Icon of Italian design, this Toio model floor lamp was designed by the Castiglioni brothers: Achille and Pier Giacomo in 1962 then edited by Flos (name on the base, see pictures). It consists of a base where the transformer is located, an adjustable vertical arm ending in a light source composed of a headlight car.
Its totally industrial but minimalist look will easily fit into any interior style: modern, vintage or even classic. This sculpture will provide indirect soft lighting in your entrance, living room or bedroom.
This model is part of the permanent collection of the MoMa (Museum of Modern Art) in New York.
