Pierre Paulin desk model CM141 edition Thonet 1950

This desk, famous model CM141 by designer Pierre Paulin, was edited by Thonet in 1954. Its base is made up of four feet connected by three flat spacers, all in black lacquered metal. The top is made of black melamine on the left and an birch veneer chest of drawers on the right. The box consists of two drawers opening with a black lacquered metal handle in the shape of a U.
The lines of this desk are minimalist and refined, typical of post-war design.
This desk is the first creation of the French designer, it is entirely from the origin.
