Description

This small piece of furniture is a story all by itself... We have acquired doors from an integrated library made to measure for a notary office in Lyon during the fifties. Our question was :

"How can we integrate these beautiful doors in a design furniture?"

In partnership with our cabinetmaker and our steelworker, we have made a structure entirely in patinated oak and a black lacquered metal base that can accommodate these pretty doors in mahogany veneer.

The simple form of the structure blends perfectly with these two vintage sliding doors with handles cut into airplane wings and recall creations of Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand.
