Andre Sornay desk and chair mahogany beech and black lacquer 1960

Description

This office and chair set was designed by Andre Sornay, famous French cabinetmaker, in the 60s. The chair is composed of a solid mahogany structure, a seat and a backrest filled with foam and covered by a black leather. The desk is composed of a stained beech structure and panels lacquered in black, it has a drawer on the side. These two pieces of furniture have the tigette system patented by the cabinetmaker.

this product is in good vintage condition, it has a nice general patina
Restoration:
varnishes and black lacquer were redone by our partner's cabinetmaker and lacquered, the leather of the chair was changed by our upholsterer
