Description

This mask was made by the Dan ethnic group in Ivory Coast at the beginning of the 20th century. Carved from a very black hardwood, the specificity of the Dan masks is that it has a smooth finish: polished using tree leaves. Elongated eyes are synonymous with a masculine mask.

Place in your interior a room steeped in history. It comes from a private collection in the south of France, it was presented with a female Dan mask, available in the accessory category.

Note: the base is sold with the mask.
