This console table or desk, was designed in the 60s by Andre Sornay, famous French cabinetmaker. It is composed of a mahogany structure and a black laminate top.
This console has the mounting system called "tigette", patented by the cabinetmaker, precursor system of the kit furniture.
This model is the First Edition of cabinetmaker's console tables. Galerie44 also presents another model, available in several lacquer colors and with a drawer on the side, more common version.
